Slovakia Shared Power Bank Market
Trade News · 2026/11/06

Slovakia has a growing tourism market, a well-established bank card payment system, and active urban commercial activities, providing a solid foundation for shared power bank services. According to the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic, accommodation establishments across the country welcomed approximately 6.3 million visitors in 2025, representing year-on-year growth of more than 7%. Total overnight stays reached approximately 16.2 million, including around 2.4 million overnight stays by international visitors.

In terms of payments, bank cards are an important cashless payment method in Slovakia. Mobile wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay are also widely used, making it convenient for shared power bank operators to offer QR code rentals and self-service payments.

I. Insights into the Shared Power Bank Market in Slovakia

Several local shared power bank brands and operating networks are already present in Slovakia. Among them, AxxSxx is a relatively well-known local service provider. According to its official website, it operates hundreds of rental locations nationwide, covering commercial venues and public areas.

Another brand, Bxxx, allows users to locate devices through its mobile app and rent power banks by scanning QR codes. Its stations are available in bars, restaurants, sports centers, and public venues.

In addition, Axxx has partnered with the city of Košice to integrate shared power bank services into the local public shared services system.

These developments indicate that Slovakia already has a certain foundation for shared power bank operations. However, the market has not yet become monopolized, and overall penetration remains relatively low. Beyond the main urban markets of Bratislava, the capital, and Košice, many tourist towns still have limited or no shared power bank coverage.

Litashared, the international brand under Zhongdian Core's shared power bank manufacturing business, provides OEM and private-label customization services, as well as integrated shared power bank software and hardware solutions for projects in Slovakia, helping partners build their own branded presence in the local market.

II. Multi-Scenario Deployment of Shared Power Banks in Slovakia

1. Bratislava – Slovakia's Core Commercial and Tourism Hub

City characteristics: As the capital of Slovakia and a city located close to Vienna, Bratislava attracts substantial cross-border visitor traffic. Its historic city center, commercial districts, restaurants, and bars are concentrated in a relatively compact area, making it a popular first stop for international visitors.

Priority locations: Bratislava Airport, railway stations, pedestrian streets in the Old Town, local restaurants, cafés, hotels, and leisure bars.

2. Košice – A Tourism and Cultural Hub in Eastern Slovakia

City characteristics: As Slovakia's second-largest city, Košice provides access to renowned World Heritage attractions in the surrounding region, including Spiš Castle and the Dobšiná Ice Cave. It attracts a considerable number of tourists, including visitors on longer trips.

Priority locations: Tourist information centers, resort hotels, commercial streets, and distinctive local restaurants.

The shared power bank market in Slovakia is still expanding. Although several brands have already entered the market, no monopolistic structure has emerged, leaving considerable room for further competition and development.

Beyond major cities such as Bratislava and Košice, many smaller tourist towns, mountain destinations, and commercial areas across Slovakia remain insufficiently developed. Hotels, restaurants, shopping malls, bars, and tourist attractions still offer numerous potential locations for shared power bank stations.
